About OCHCH PAC

David Tramontana“In our fight for quality community based health care options for Ohioans, the OCHCH-PAC is an important access tool for home care and hospice providers. The PAC gives us a voice to advocate for our clients, our employees and our provider members.”

What is a PAC?

Political Action Committees, or PACs, as a tool that allows like-minded individuals to work together to raise money to support or defeat candidates. In short, PACs merely represent a legal way for individuals to unite and ensure their voices are heard at all levels of government.

PAC Objectives:

  • To promote and strive for the improvement of home care, hospice and community based care in Ohio.
  • To encourage home health and hospice agencies to understand the nature and actions of the government, as to important political issues, and as to the records of office holders and candidates for elective office.
  • To assist home health and hospice agencies organizing themselves for more effective political action and in carrying out their civil responsibilities.
  • To support candidates for election to public office at the local and state levels who share the views of home care providers on issues important to the home care industry.
